Aislin Martinez-Pompa, a junior at Cienega High, repeated as champion in the Division 2 girls javelin throw with a second-round effort of 137-3 (41.83m) at the Arizona State Championships at Mesa Community College. Martinez-Pompa, who improved on her previous-best 135-3 (41.22m), prevailed last season with a throw of 130-6 (39.77m).
