Aislin Martinez-Pompa, a recent graduate of Cienega High in Arizona and a University of Arizona signee representing Tucson Elite Athletic Club, took third in the women's 17-18 division javelin throw final with an opening-round mark of 141-2 (43.04m) at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
